Time for an update, I guess! Yesterday, thanks to my lovely husband, I had to drain the tank completely.. so that I could dry the floor after *he* managed to spill some 60 odd litres of dirty laundry water all over the floor.. soo.. I took the chance to essentially break down the tank, clean all the rocks and filter most of the water with a large water change too, while I was at it (I really need to get some new marine test kits ), found that I still have a good deal of coraline algae after all, tried to not kill the feather worms and it now looks rather bare and.. nice! While I was at it I also found a good marine-only LFS and am going to buy a 10+ polyp Duncanopsammia axifuga (Duncan coral) tomorrow! :gulp:

I must say, I am getting rather excited now! I had a nice chat with the importer on Thursday when I went to pick up my coral and he was kind enough to give me a second one with an extra six heads on it. I just fed them and they are happy and healthy corals.. I will be sure to take some photos next time I feed, which will be once every three days or so from now on (one mysis per head).

As per your request.. ;) I am trying to resist the urge to feed it more often then every third day and finding it very difficult! There is something quite hypnotic about the way it eats:

Very nice pictures. Do you have more coral or just the Duncan?

Mainly just the Duncan, there are a few bits and bobs around, but not really worth mentioning until they grow a bit.
